Yen Chun Yang, sound designer, audio engineer and producer, has collaborated with such artists as John Luther Adams, Rand Steiger, Shahrokh Yadegari, John Malashock, Yolande Snaith and Ju Percussion Group. Yang is an experienced professional with a MFA Degree in Sound Design at University of California, San Diego. He has more than thirteen years' professional experiences in Audio Engineering including: sound system design, setup and optimization for theatre, concert hall, outdoor venue, studio, broadcast, installation and exhibition; Front of house and stage monitor live mixing for concert, theatre, musical and multimedia performance; Stereo and multi-track recording system design and operation and RF microphone system management. The education and working experience in the U.S. and around the world has cultivated he as a competitive candidate with multi-cultural perspectives for Sound design for theatre, dance, multi-media and interactive live performance.

Among his recent projects are Sound Design Consultant & Optimization Engineer for "NIMBUS" at Walt Disney Concert Hall, Technical Director and Sound System Designer for "The Place Where You Go To Listen" at Museum of the NorthUniversity of Alaska Fairbanks, Technical Director and Sound System Designer for "Wind Garden" at Stuart Collection, University of California, San Diego. In 2017 he joined “TORUK - The First Flight” a Cirque du Soleil arena world tour show as a sound engineer, later as the show ended in London 2019 July he move to another Cirque du Soleil arena show “CRYSTAL”. Since 2021 he become the House Manager and Sound Engineer at The Performing Arts Center in the Taipei National University of the Arts.
